Chef Claudia




"I have been in the kitchen since I was very young, helping Mamaesco, our family cook of three generations, prepare delicious meals at our home in Barranquilla, Colombia. From coconut rice to cola pot roast, to café con leche and corn arepas, I helped cut every vegetable, clean each shrimp, and shred all the beef that went into her luscious dishes."
"I became a young woman in this gingerbread-colored kitchen and besides soaking in all the knowledge I could from this alchemist, I also took with me her passion to tell stories.You can almost say I became her and that my passion for cooking and storytelling are kept alive at each of the cooking classes I teach in my Studio."

Claudia moved to the United States to pursue a college education in Florida where she married her husband of now 31 years. She has worked at the Doral Resorts of Florida, as a private chef to sport celebrities. In 1998 Claudia and her family left it all behind and moved to Bozeman, Montana, where she teaches cooking classes at her studio and other local gourmet stores. Additionally, she coordinates and chefs harvest dinners in Gallatin, Madison, and Park counties. Co-author with Anne-Louse Gittleman and Laura Castro, in the recipe book, Eat Fat-Lose Weight, Chef Krevat has also written in local newspapers and college periodicals.Chef Claudia is editing her future cook book, Latinize-It!
